Expressive Arts Grief Group

Grieving through Art

For those grieving the loss of a loved one, recent or long ago.

Expressive Arts Grief Group October 2012

Support for Your Healing Journey

Grief work in a group can help us to feel connected and supported.  Art offers us new ways to communicate and express our grief and tell our stories. In this group we will use the arts to encourage gentle expression, insight, growth, and healing.

Together we will create a safe place to:
•    Explore our loss using the arts to deepen our understanding and healing.
•    Look to the art for resources for our life today.
•    Have art to keep that honors our grief and our loved one.
•    Connect, witness and support others who have experienced loss.

NO ART EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY,
projects are simple and effective.

About Tish McAllise Sjoberg, M.A.

The death of my mother, father, and beloved dog within a short 6-month period brought me both to Expressive Arts Therapy and hospice work. I have used the arts in hospice with dying, grieving and staff. I work with loss of all kind in my private practice and have experienced first hand the power of the arts in healing and remembering.
